After the aftermath of Hurricane Ida, Jersey City and Hoboken have issued boiling water orders. The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection issued the order after Ida caused damage to the Cedar Grove aqueduct. Customers are required to boil the water before using it for drinking or cooking.

SUEZ Water emergency crews are repairing the aqueduct; they hope to complete the repairs by tonight. Jersey City and Hoboken are currently working to distribute bottled water to residents.
